FINANCING!!!!!

Banks are just itching to end this "recession," which for us means that you can walk in with good credit and ride out on a bike of your choice. Ducati and FreedomRoad Financial are offering financing as low as 3.99% on the 1198/1098/1198s/1098s, 5.25% on the 848, and 6.25% on the Monster 696, mind you this all has stipulations see our website for details. Husqvarna and BMW Bank of North America are offering 4.99% OR $1000 off Husky's (excluding the TXC models, and the TE610). Even without promotions Tier 1 credit could get you financed at 9.99% for 84 months with ZERO down! Do your part and stimulate the economy while putting a smile on your face!!!!!

**For more information on any of these promotions please feel free to call, (760)746-6001, or go to our website and submit a credit application, www.moto-forza.com.

Here are some answers to your questions.

Steve,

Good to hear from you.

1. Due to the current economic climate and the consumers' hesitation to spend their hard earned money, most trackday organizations have seen significant reductions in sign-ups. Committing to renting tracks and all the additional infrastructure associated with it is a large financial risk, especially for someone like us for whom trackdays really aren't the primary business. That's why we decided to hold off on trackdays for this year. Depending on how sales progress during spring and summer there may be a chance for a MotoForza trackday in fall. We may also piggyback on an event run by a regular trackday provider. We would certainly let you know if that happens.
Other than that, check on our site, our blog or just call us. I will go to different trackdays this year and it is always more fun to have a group together. We just did a day this past Sunday at Willow Springs with Hypercycle and we had a group of about 7-8 friends/customers.

2. The Streetfighter is not due to arrive in the US until late May. We are planning an event around the nationwide premier and we will certainly mention it in our monthly e-news letter. You are getting that, aren't you?

3. Because we didn't design it!!! I don't know why the site does not provide any specifications. It has been brought to the factories attention and hopefully we'll see this fixed soon.
In the meantime, I can give you the specs if you tell me which model you are looking for.

Best regards,

Balz

Hello Moto-Forza,

I have some questions for your blog.

1. Will you be running any track days this year? I enjoyed all three last year.
2. When will you have a Streetfighter to display?
3. Why is the Husqvarna web site so usless? Can't they supply any specifications on the bikes, like weight, fuel cap, etc.?

TAX INCREASE

California tax increase from 7.75% to 8.75%!! Our wonderful government officials have felt it necessary to raise our state sales tax 1% to take effect on April 1, 2009. While 1% might not seem like a lot, think about this:
1% increase on sales tax for a M696 = $99.90 increase on your OTD price!
1% increase on sales tax for an 1198s = $227.90 increase on your OTD price!
That's a substantial chunk of change, any way you cut it.
On top of the tax rate increase DMV registration fees are supposed to be increasing as well! Although we are unsure at this time when that will take effect, but we will keep you posted!!!!

Motorcycle Stimulus Plan

Details of the new stimulus package signed into law on Tuesday include benefits
for purchasers of new motorcycles. Ducati North America requested details on the
package and received the following information directly from the AMA Government
relations office.
To answer your question of what Motorcycle qualifies for a tax deduction, it is as
follows:
1. Must be purchased from February 17 through Jan. 1, 2010
2. Bike must be less than 8,500 lbs Gross Vehicle Weight
3. Cost less than $49,500
4. You must make less than $125,000 in gross taxable income ($250,000 for
joint filers)
5. Deduction is phased out for taxpayers with modified adjusted gross income
between $125,000 and $135,000 ($250,000 and $260,000 in the case of a
joint return).
6. If you meet the criteria, you will be able to deduct the sales tax and excise
tax
What qualifies as a motorcycle, according to the Economic Stimulus bill?
In the Economic Stimulus bill, Motorcycle is defined under section 571.3 of title 49,
Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) (as in effect on the date of the enactment).
Section 571.3 of Title 49 CFR:
“Motorcycle means a motor vehicle with motive power having a seat or
saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three
wheels in contact with the ground.
Motor-driven cycle means a motorcycle with a motor that produces 5-brake
horsepower or less.”
.....
So if you were waiting for the perfect opportunity to purchase a new bike, NOW is the time, with both the tax deduction and the great rates from Ducati and Husqvarna (for more details go to our website or give us a call).

"I hate this computer crap!!!" -Balz

I hate this computer crap!!! Only took me almost 1 hour to figure out how to post something on this bloggy thing.Anyway, here we are. Why a blog you ask? Well, I asked Daniela to set this up so we have a way to communicate with you fellow enthusiasts in a somewhat informal way. See, at the shop it is in general mostly business. Many of you regular customers know that at the shop we all try hard to convey to you that we the staff at Moto Forza are motorcycle enthusiasts first. Sometimes it gets a little tricky to find a good balance between running a business (i.e. making some money) and simply being your friends with the same passion for Italian motorcycles.Moto Forza exists for absolutely no other reason than the passion I developped for Ducatis in the 1990s and from there my enthusiasm spread to other Italian brands. Over the last 7 years, our staff and myself worked very hard to build this dealership around this passion and I believe that today Moto Forza is a motorcycle shop that gives the customer a more personal experience than most dealerships in the country. This blog is just another way for every one on here to chat with friends and fellow motorcylclists. So please join in and post stories, pictures, comments, questions, suggestions, if you want to meet up for a ride, or anything else....Who's first...?

Hello to all!

So on my quest to create the most technologically advanced web store around (and to make Balz's hatred of computers grow), I have begun the official Moto Forza Blog. Please, I encourage everyone to come, read, respond, comment, ask questions, etc. of any of us at Moto Forza. My goal is to create a place where customers can connect with all of us at the shop, ask questions, and receive honest answers. I will try and update as soon as anything comes up and let everyone know what the latest and greatest is. Also if anyone has any questions for anyone other than myself (Daniela) than I will grab that person and make sure they respond (and for those of you who know all of us you know that's something!). Hope everyone enjoys this new avenue of Moto Forza, and check back often for updates!

As always, check out our website: www.moto-forza.com, and sign up for our newsletter by e-mailing administrative@motaliausa.com, or from the form on our homepage.
